Everything was 10/10 from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were able to grab a last minute afternoon reservation and we asked to sit outside and wow, amazing views! Tony was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He gave us history about the restaurant and was really great energy overall. The food and drinks were amazing, but wow the restaurant is decorated beautifully and very clean- AND if you get the chance to sit outside on a beautiful day even better! Can’t wait to come back.

Jula's is one of my all-time favorite restaurants and the views are exceptional. One can see the Potomac River from the Wilson Bridge to the D.C. monuments. Any time there are visitors or people new to the area, it is the first place I recommend. The food is delicious and the servers are friendly and efficient. On a nice day, the outside seating is outstanding. They have umbrellas and heaters depending on the weather. The interior of the restaurant is also inviting with lovely decor and huge windows. I appreciate that the restaurant is not overpriced, despite all the positive aspects. Everyone I have sent there has thanked me and, no, I was not paid for this review!

Phenomenal service, great layout, and amazing bites. Service here was inviting, we were served by Hannah and she was full of smiles, great recommendations, and personality. The layout is almost perfect as the restaurant seating reminds me of a "Goldilocks" just-right feeling with spacing (Keeping in mind the winter weather doesn't allow for some of their best outdoor seating to be accessible). Preparation matters here, the dishes are well balanced in flavor profile and they also give great portion sizes -you will not leave hungry. . They had me hooked with perfectly poached eggs. Cafe 44 is a must visit especially now during the winter...I get the feeling the summer time crowd will be extensive reservations will be a necessary.

Great service and great food! My husband and I visited on a Saturday morning for brunch and got a chance to sample the prix fixe menu as well as a breakfast item from the main menu. The biscuits and sausage gravy are amazing! The shrimp and grits were also delicious. They have so much outdoor seating with a great view of the Potomac. Highly recommend.

Jula’s on the Potomac offers a dining experience that’s equal parts relaxing and indulgent. The atmosphere was wonderful. It’s perfect for enjoying a meal in peace. We decided to sit outside on a breezy fall day, and it was the best choice we could have made. The patio overlooks the Potomac River, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop. The views alone are worth the visit, but thankfully, the food lived up to the setting. I opted for the Garden Truffle, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was well thought out and perfectly executed. The creamy brie sauce paired beautifully with the roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions, creating a rich, savory bite in every forkful. The white truffle oil added an elevated touch, while the micro basil and balsamic glaze provided just the right balance of freshness and sweetness. For 19, it felt like a great value for the quality and presentation. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which allowed us to really soak in the moment. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date spot or a relaxing meal with friends, Jula’s offers the perfect ambiance and delicious food to match. Highly recommend sitting outside if the weather allows!

I gave it 5 stars because its a nice fancy breakfast places for special events in my opinion. It was def pricey. However, the restaurant looked nice. The view was nice. The location in old town is nice. The food was good. It was a little cold outside our area didn't have heaters, but some do. My girlfriend loved the key lime pie.she said her omelete was only average and it did look kinda plain. But my shrimp and grits were really good. The biscuit was good. Our waiter was super friendly also. Would come back again for some nice occasions.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the brunch. There is not one negative thing to say about this place. Every single food item was delicious and the mimosas were good too. Our server Khai Q. was outstanding, very personable and he encouraged us to come again, which we will. We planned to go to NYC next month for my daughter’s 30th bday and she asked that we come back to DC so we come here for a bday brunch. Try this place and you will not be disappointed.
